I have just returned from holiday and wanted to pass on some feedback regarding one of your team members Betina Carter. I needed to contact yourselves the day before my holiday was due to commence as my medical circumstances had changed in the last number of hours. This was extremely last minute and very difficult for me to get my medical records updated in time for travelling.
Your member of staff, Betina explained to me exactly what was required and even stayed on after her shift had finished on a Friday afternoon so that my details could be updated. I could not get a doctor’s appointment until 5.00pm and Betina had to wait until 5.45pm for my phone call to update my insurance!
The bottom line is that if Betina had not stayed later after her shift I would not have gone on holiday! All this was done with absolutely no fuss or big deal being made about anything!
So please pass on my thanks once again to Betina for going the extra mile with someone that she may never even speak to again!!
Brilliant company and brilliant prices for people who have health issues and need holiday insurance, the site was easy to use no hassle. My condition is exactly the same as last year but the insurance company I used then said they could not insure me this year. Well done Free Spirit. Would definitely use again and recommend.

I felt it was only fair to say thank you for a job well done on our behalf without much upset. I was gutted that we had to cancel our special cruise at such short notice. People nowadays are so quick to criticise but not so quick to praise. When I needed to declare another medical condition for my husband on our joint travel insurance policy I was stunned when the company I had been with for a few years was unable to provide cover. What was even more frustrating was that the person I spoke to seemed to have very limited medical knowledge. What a difference when I contacted Free Spirit where the staff are obviously very well trained. I gave all the details and then was asked many questions relevant to my husband’s medical history. This was done in an efficient, caring, considerate and sympathetic manner which made the whole process stress free for me. Obviously it does take a bit of time to discuss everything fully but it didn’t feel like I was on the phone long at all. I was given quotes for single trip and annual policy and opted for the latter as it provided more than enough cover and was such good value. It was such a relief to be able to get this sorted out quickly over the phone by calling Free Spirit. I will not hesitate to recommend them to all my friends and family.
My only experience with Free Spirit travel insurance has been the purchase of same but it was a good and efficient experience.
I would just like to say how impressed I have been with the way the business has been conducted and my compliments to Emma and Lauren that I have been dealing with. Justified praise from someone that has been in the business for nearly 50 years!
I have assisted my friends one of whom has medical conditions with obtaining insurance cover with Free Spirit. This is the fifth year with Free Spirit and once again with the assistance of Rachel, my friends are delighted with the service provided.
Once again, many thanks for your courtesy and diligence – and for your skill in extending the offer. I’m pleased to say that I have now successfully secured my insurance and downloaded the policy schedule and medical reports. Apart from the tedium of answering the screening questions for the fifth time, it hasn’t caused me much inconvenience; and as I’ve now become used to how your system functions, online form filling isn’t the problem it was in the past.
