No age limit travel insurance
Cover for all ages
Many people find that reaching age milestones can cause problems when trying to buy travel insurance, with some standard travel insurance providers refusing to cover senior people. But there is no need for concern, here at Free Spirit, we don’t believe that your age should stop you from travelling. Whether you’re over 65, 75, 80 or 90 we will look to provide you with first class, wide ranging cover for you and your companions when travelling in the UK or abroad.
As you would expect, our ‘no age limit travel insurance’ policy has terms and conditions which are shown in the Insurance Policy and cover is subject to medical screening.
Age or health shouldn’t prevent you going away on holiday, but making sure you have the right insurance cover in place is important. That’s why Free Spirit can offer cover for single trips but if you enjoy travelling a few times a year, you may be eligible for our annual multi-trip cover. Either way, you can choose the policy that best suits your needs, so you can get on with having fun on holiday.
No matter what your age we could have the travel insurance policy for you:
Our no age limit travel insurance has two types of cover to choose from; Super and Super Duper. You can be sure you get the cover you need such as emergency medical expenses, cancellation or curtailment/loss of holiday, delayed departure, baggage delay, loss or damage to medical aids and prescribed medications, loss of passport and personal accident. If you’re feeling adventurous, there’s also the option to add winter sports cover on payment of an additional premium.
If you are looking for complete peace of mind, Super Duper offers higher cover limits and also includes journey disruption and end supplier failure, see the Insurance Policy for details.
Even if you have an existing medical condition or disability we should be able to cover you
We understand that living with a medical conditions or disability can make it difficult to get suitable insurance, so we want to make buying specialist travel cover easier. We will always try and offer a quote, unlike some standard travel insurance providers. We will ask you some questions about the medical conditions and disabilities of everyone to be insured on the policy, so that you all get the cover that’s right for you.
Here are some of the medical conditions and disabilities we can look to offer cover for:
- Heart Conditions
- Mental Health Conditions
- Cerebral Conditions
- HIV and AIDS
- Circulatory Conditions
- Central Nervous System Disorders
- Breathing Conditions
- Joint Conditions
- Kidney Conditions
- Liver Conditions
- Bowel Conditions
- Terminal conditions considered – please call us on 0800 170 7704 to discuss further
Why not cover your travelling companions on your Free Spirit policy?
Free Spirit can also look to cover travelling companions on your policy whether they have a pre-existing medical condition or not and regardless of age. By including your travelling companions on your policy, you will ensure the whole party is covered by the same terms and conditions. For example, if you had to cancel your holiday due to your medical condition(s), travelling companions on your policy would be covered which may not be the case if they had taken out a policy elsewhere.
How to get your Free Spirit travel insurance with no age limits
Obtaining an instant quote and arranging cover with Free Spirit couldn’t be easier. We have an interactive website which includes online medical screening and we will ask you questions to ensure you declare all of your medical history so that you are protected should you need to claim.
Better still, you can issue a policy at any time of day when it is convenient to you.
If you would prefer not to buy online and would like to talk to a friendly voice in our UK based call centre, that’s ok as well. You can call us on 0800 170 7704 and we are open 8am to 6pm Monday – Friday (except Bank Holidays).
We understand that travelling abroad at any age can be a worry, so we want to put your mind at ease by letting you know we have an emergency medical assistance helpline available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, just in case you need our help.
