I was very impressed with your excellent service as it was but with a very quick and understandable decision.
I used Free Spirit for the first time this year. After phoning several Travel Insurance Companies from adverts I had seen my husband found the web site of Free Spirit.
My husband and I were very impressed by the reviews so I rang. The lady that dealt with my enquiry was professional, polite and cheerful at all times. Like the famous paint advert this Company does exactly what it says on the tin.
Although my husband and I are pensioners when I asked if we could purchase an annual policy I was pleasantly surprised to find that would be possible. A big majority of Travel Insurance Companies will not even quote for a annual policy if you over a certain age.
I would fully recommend Free Spirit to anyone.
Obtaining quotes for travel insurance over the ‘phone is usually a long, drawn-out and miserable experience. What a difference with Free Spirit Travel Insurance! In place of the expected ‘going solely for the facts’ combined with a disinterested hard tone of voice, I was so impressed by the compassion and interest that my operator, Sue, showed in helping me get through the questions. It transformed a long and laborious process into a light, cheerful and even an enjoyable one! Now, how many times can you say that about Insurance …! A real and tangible experience of a company, P.J. I should just like to commend Jonathon on his excellent customer service when dealing with my enquiry today. I was in a state of panic after being told by Age Concern that I could not continue with cover from them as I advised them I had a new medical condition to report on my travel insurance but they gave me your number. From the beginning of our conversation he took charge reassuring at every step not to worry he was here to help and was very confident which helped me immensely. I feel he is a credit to your organisation and this should be recorded it’s not often you get exemplary customer service these days. I shall be passing this on to friends and family so I’m sure more business will be coming your Company’s way.
The website is very easy to navigate and to enter details of previous medical conditions, and the premiums seem reasonable. The documents always arrive quickly and my previous email dealings with staff have always been prompt, friendly and courteous. Fortunately, we haven’t had reason to claim and therefore test the claims procedure, but I feel confident about it given the general good customer service we’ve received previously.
I have left two testimonials already but feel it important and necessary to add a third. I have a pre-existing medical condition, which other insurance companies seem to be petrified and ignorant of, and want to charge an absolute fortune as a premium, or indeed decline the invitation to quote, wasting a great deal of time and causing untold distress.
Free Spirit have always been there for me and now have listened even more to the plight of other cancer (NET) sufferers like me. Yes it may mean more business for Free Spirit, but the relief that we are seen as human too and want to travel abroad is being recognised and I am particularly appreciative of this. Their team, especially Mary and Andy are attentive, genuinely interested and incredibly helpful with and for the NPF (Neuroendocrine Patients Foundation). I feel so much more confident knowing that I am covered by the very important requirement of travel insurance.
All I want now is for the IPT to be scrapped for all of us who have to pay so much more for something that is out of our control. Thank you again Free Spirit
Travel Insurance with Pre – Existing Medical Conditions is becoming more difficult to get as one gets older. I found all the members of staff I spoke very helpful before, during, and when I bought the Policy would certainly recommend to my friends with similar medical issues.
I have been most impressed with the service I have received. It is extraordinarily rare for companies to look for ways in which their customers can actually save money and you have not only done that, but been able to provide email confirmation of your decisions. It is refreshing to experience a company, whose representatives are trained to use their common sense and are given the means and the flexibility to work in the best interests of their customers. I am grateful for the time and trouble you took over the quote.

Having suffered a small skiing accident in the French Alps, resulting in a fracture to my fibula near the ankle that needed a plate and screws being fitted, which was done very efficiently the same day in a hospital in Moutiers, I found the team at Global Response absolutely excellent. From my hospital bed the following morning, which was a Saturday, the person I spoke to said he knew the hospital and the Admin people there personally. He explained what Global Response were going to do. And they did everything as he described. Three days later I was on plane back home, seated across three seats in the plane. The company were exceptionally quick in settling my claim, and without any quibbles. So thank you to all the team at Global Response.
