Here at Free Spirit, our philosophy has always been to offer customers a personal service with a human touch. We firmly believe that everybody should have the freedom to travel, no matter their age, medical condition or disability, and it’s our unique service that allows us to help customers get the peace of mind protection they need when travelling.
We listen to what you are telling us
So what sets us apart? We believe it’s our friendly customer service team, headed up by Mary Holt. In fact, our staff frequently receive personal mentions in the reviews because, put simply, they treat customers like human beings. They are empathetic, respectful and courteous, and treat people as they would wish to be treated themselves. Finally, (and this may sound obvious given that they are on the telephone!) they actually listen.
We take time to tailor cover for you
If you have a medical condition, you will need to answer some medical screening questions, which we appreciate are sometimes a little daunting. However, we take the time to talk to you, discuss your specific medical condition(s), and understand your individual needs. From this conversation, we are (in 96% of cases) able to provide you with a quality travel insurance policy that’s tailored to you.

At Free Spirit, we go out of our way to help customers have the freedom to travel because we really don’t like saying ‘No’!
This sometimes means that holiday plans might have to be tweaked in order to provide appropriate travel insurance. For example, in some cases we might offer Single Trip cover, instead of an Annual Multi-trip policy, or we may suggest holidaying in another country because on certain occasions we can only provide cover for Europe, but not worldwide.
In some situations, if a customer has planned to travel abroad for a long period of time, by slightly shortening the duration cover can be granted.
